Every second year I try to do a long tour. I've done the following major rides:

2008 - Across Africa to the border of Russia and then back to Germany.

2010 - From Germany across Africa to South Africa.

2011 - to Lake Malawi and back (not really a long tour though)

2012 - This year I plan to ride  through Russia and Siberia.
